  Reaching Women will be hosting a celebration for grandmothers. Our grandmothers are an integral part of our community and  they should be celebrated for giving of themselves and never tiring. Reaching Women in conjunction with various stakeholders successfully extended their services to the public by drawing up Wills for members of the community free of charge. The programme was conducted over two consecutive days.   Reaching Women invites you to a special motivational talk with 5 guest speakers from Kansas, USA. Topic: “Dealing With Life’s Challenges As Women.” You are welcome to ask questions or have discussions with the speakers. Venue: Sastri Park Secondary School, 235 Trenance Park Drive, Sastri Park.   The Reaching Women Team is inviting underprivileged members of the community to shop for free. The team will be giving away clothing items that they have accumulated.     Venue and date are to be announced later. Thank You

    Reaching Women celebrated the women of the community with an event “Time to Shine.” The women were treated to a fun afternoon and dinner. The motivational speakers encouraged the women to realise how influential and special they are. A few of the women from the audience shared from their life experiences as an encouragement to each other. The event was hosted at Sastri Park Secondary School Hall.

  The pictures above show our last event where Reaching Women held a Mother and Daughter Tea Party. It was a lovely afternoon that was spent socializing and celebrating the unique relationship between mother and daughter.   Reaching Women invites Mothers and Daughters to a Fancy Hat Tea Party on the 7th May2017 to be held at the Sharks Board, Umhlanga Rocks, Durban, at 3pm. A special program of motivational talks, eating together, fun activities, one of which includes dressing up in lovely outfits and hats, are all geared towards building understanding, relationship, oneness and support amongst our mothers and daughters and in our families. The pictures above show our last event where Reaching Women spent a few hours with mums and sick children who had to remain in hospital over the Easter weekend. There was much fun with balloons, face painting, goodie bags, and lunch. Thanks to the team and friends who contributed to making this event possible.   The Reaching Women team will be going to Ghandi Hospital to visit the children that have to stay in during the Easter Holiday. We will be presenting each of the children with a “goodie bag” to brighten up their day. If you are interested in joining us , please do not hesitate to contact us for more information. The hospital visit is on Sunday, 16th April 2017, at 2pm.
